DRAINAGE

Residential Drainage Maintenance

Regularly scheduled maintenance ensures problems are caught before they become expensive.

Nobody thinks about water damage until it’s too late. That’s why regularly scheduled maintenance is so critical. Signs that your drainage may have failed can range anywhere from having a damp basement to a flooded room. Basically, if you have unwanted water in your home, you have a drainage issue. Here’s a few of the most common causes that regularly scheduled maintenance would find ahead of time to reduce your chances of flooding.

Blocked Perimeter Drainage

Common causes of blocked perimeter drainage are tree roots, collapsed tiles, debris in the line, or aging of the pipeline.

Plugged or Blocked Sump

Cracked Foundation

If any of these problems are present, you increase the likelihood of your home flooding. However, maintenance of your drainage system greatly reduces the risk. That’s why we recommend every home have a regularly scheduled Drainage Inspection each Spring and Fall.

We first introduced this service back in 1998, and ever since, homeowners have come to rely on it to keep their drainage systems operating at peak efficiency. Our professional Video Diagnostic Inspections will accurately assess the problem, locate blockages, determine the condition of a pipe, check for sags, and map out locations for connections. The advantage in using a camera is that allows us to quickly determine what will be the best course of action. For example, if there is a break in the pipe, then repairing the pipe would be better then simply inserting an auger and trying to clear the blockage. If there are roots in the line, inserting a root cutter would be the best option. After the repair is complete, the camera can provide homeowners additional peace of mind by showing proof that the pipe is completely clear.

High-pressure water jetting is a quick, economical and environmentally safe way to clean drain and sewer lines. Using state-of-the-art pumps and flexible hoses, high velocity streams of water are propelled under varying amounts of pressure into the sewer line to cut through even the toughest blockage. By adjusting the pressure and angle of the cleaning jets, our certified technicians can quickly clear blockages safely and effectively.

We stand behind our installations with an unheard of 10 year warranty. We were one of the first companies to introduce Video Diagnostic Inspections and Jet Washing, so you know we have the experience to do it right the first time.
